Project: A self-initiated project to create a sculpture consisting of a series of floating forms which cast shadows on the floor. The seemingly randomly arranged forms are carefully manufactured and constructed so that at a set day in the year, and at a specific time of day, their shadows will align to cast the iconic shape of the African continent on the ground. The purpose of the artwork is to help realize African unity.
